NEWSOME and ISAAC CORBITT are self-taught musicians, originally from Jacksonville, FL.
Newsome (30) is the lead vocalist for the band. His soulful vocals and guitar playing set a solid foundation for the band. He is also an extremely gifted songwriter and wrote or co-wrote 9 of the 10 songs on their original CD.
Isaac (24) plays harmonica, mandolin, sings backup vocals and writes music as well.
Brandon Buck (25) plays drums for the band and travels with them full-time.
The Corbitt Brothers Band's passion for playing music and entertaining is second to none. They play from their hearts and love what they do. They pride themselves on their original music but also play a wide variety of favorite cover songs including southern rock, outlaw country, blues, americana, reggae, 70's dance tunes, even a little rap ... you name it!
From 2005 to 2008 they played music with the "Southern Trouble Band" in Jacksonville, FL, which they co-founded. In July 2008, Newsome and Isaac were ready for something new, and the two brothers headed to Nashville, TN to pursue their dreams. They hit the music scene hard playing in many local bars, restaurants, at special events, and opening for established artists in the Nashville area until they quickly became "the opening act".
They are currently on the road full-time performing, but consider Franklin, NC their home base. They are mountain boys at heart (listen to their "Carolina Song"). The duo has individually or collectively shared the stage with Hank Williams, III., David Alan Coe, Sunny Edwards (of The Outlaws), Bob Burns (of Lynyrd Skynyrd) and many more.
